Marla Aboulafia was born in New York and now lives in North Stamford, CT with her husband, Matthew.

She has two grown children and is an avid dog lover.

She is a graduate of Connecticut College with a B.A. in Psychology and founded MRA Interiors, a full-service interior design firm.

Having recently retired from her interior design business, she devotes her spare time to animal rescue causes and of course her writing.

The Wonder of Nature... Reflections is Marla's fourth published book and represents a departure from her three prior works in the children's picture book category; Timothy’s Toystore Adventure, Fiona’s Fabulous Freckles, and The House with A View of Everything  It is a short collection of Marla's personal thoughts on nature and and a stunning glimpse into the miracles of the natural world.
